Street Reconstruction Project 19-1 – 4 miles of residential streets

The Contractor for this project is North Valley, Inc. The Contractor's main contact is Herb Thielbar, who can be reached at 763-274-2580 (office) or 612-716-4214 (cell). Zach Pfieffer is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Work during the week of July 15 will include asphalt paving and boulevard restoration for streets within Area 2 (Partridge Street, Raven Street, 123^rd Lane, and 124^th Avenue). Concrete saw-cutting is scheduled for streets within the last phase of the project (streets north and south of and including 131^st Avenue). Concrete removals are planned for streets south of 131^st Avenue.

Street Reconstruction Project 19-2 – 2.3 miles of MSA streets (Foley Boulevard from 115^th Avenue to 124^th Avenue, Wedgewood Drive from Main Street to Round Lake Boulevard, Olive Street from 121^st Avenue to Main Street)

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction. The Contractor's main contact is Dan Bodza, who can be reached at 612-248-7760 (cell). Rene Garcia (612-360-4707) with Park Construction is the Contractor point of contact for watermain pipe replacements. For the week of July 15, Andy Evans with Hakanson Anderson will be the full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Work during the week of July 15 includes continued construction of the new watermain system on Olive Street. Grading, curb installations, and boulevard restorations will continue on the west side of Foley Boulevard.

Street Reconstruction Project 19-3 – 3.3 miles of residential streets

The Contractor for this project is Douglas-Kerr Underground, Inc. The Contractor's main contact is Ryan Kerr, who can be reached at 320-679-8937 (office) or 320-515-0046 (cell). Jason Huebscher is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Work during the week of July 15 includes grading and asphalt pavement installation on streets in the Phase 1A area (Flintwood Street, Goldenrod Street, 114^th Avenue, 116^th Avenue, Evergreen Street, Evergreen Circle, and 117^th Avenue). Irrigation repairs in the Phase 1A area will also take place. Permanent watermain construction will continue next week in the Phase 1B area (Bridgewater neighborhood consisting of Alder Street, Butternut Street, Cottonwood Street, 116^th Avenue, 116^th Lane, and 117^th Avenue).

Trail Reconstruction Project 19-9 – Erlandson Park Pedestrian Bridge & Dahlia Park Culvert Installation

This project is planned to begin the week of July 22nd.

Trail Reconstruction Project 19-11 – Wedgewood Trail, Nelson Park Trails, and Trackside Park Trails

Construction during the week of July 15 includes work on final turf and concrete restorations on the Wedgewood Trail system, as well as Nelson and Trackside Parks.

Anoka County Project – Hanson Boulevard (CSAH 78) Railroad Bridge Overpass

Hanson Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids (north of Coon Rapids Boulevard). The County’s Contractor for this project is C.S McCrossan. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-324-3114.
