Street Reconstruction Project 19-1 – 4 miles of residential streets

The Contractor for this project is North Valley, Inc. The Contractor's main contact is Herb Thielbar, who can be reached at 763-274-2580 (office) or 612-716-4214 (cell). Zach Pfieffer is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Work during the week of June 21 includes sod installation along 127^th Avenue and Crane Street. Manhole and valve adjustments will also take place in preparation for anticipated final asphalt paving by the end of next week. Utility replacements and new curb/apron installations will continue within Area 2 (Partridge Street, Raven Street, 123^rd Lane, and 124^th Avenue) next week.

Street Reconstruction Project 19-2 – 2.3 miles of MSA streets (Foley Boulevard from 115^th Avenue to 124^th Avenue, Wedgewood Drive from Main Street to Round Lake Boulevard, Olive Street from 121^st Avenue to Main Street)

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction. The Contractor's main contact is Dan Bodza, who can be reached at 612-248-7760 (cell). Rene Garcia (612-360-4707) with Park Construction is the Contractor point of contact for watermain pipe replacements. Work during the week of June 21 includes continued installation and connections for the temporary water system along Olive Street. On the west side of Foley Boulevard, grading for the new roadway cross section will continue throughout the week. New curb installations are also planned for the west side of Foley Boulevard.

Street Reconstruction Project 19-3 – 3.3 miles of residential streets

The Contractor for this project is Douglas-Kerr Underground, Inc. The Contractor's main contact is Ryan Kerr, who can be reached at 320-679-8937 (office) or 320-515-0046 (cell). Work during the week of June 21 includes new curb and driveway apron construction within the Phase 1A area (Flintwood Street, Goldenrod Street, 114^th Avenue, 116^th Avenue, Evergreen Street, Evergreen Circle, and 117^th Avenue). Temporary watermain construction is planned for the Phase 1B area (Bridgewater neighborhood consisting of Alder Street, Butternut Street, Cottonwood Street, 116^th Avenue, 116^th Lane, and 117^th Avenue).

Trail Reconstruction Project 19-11 – Wedgewood Trail, Nelson Park Trails, and Trackside Park Trails

The Contractor for this project is Northwest Asphalt. The Contractor's main contact is John Hamers, who can be reached at 952-445-1003 (office) or 952-292-8471 (cell). Construction during the week of June 21 includes trail restoration and one culvert replacement on the Wedgewood Trail system. Work may also include concrete pedestrian curb ramp restorations.

Anoka County Project – Hanson Boulevard (CSAH 78) Railroad Bridge Overpass

Hanson Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids (north of Coon Rapids Boulevard). The County’s Contractor for this project is C.S McCrossan. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-324-3114.
