Pleasure Creek Culvert Extension at Coon Rapids Boulevard Project 18-18

This project is nearly complete. Construction operations during the week of June 10 will include final restoration work.

Street Reconstruction Project 19-1 – 4 miles of residential streets

The Contractor for this project is North Valley, Inc. The Contractor's main contact is Herb Thielbar, who can be reached at 763-274-2580 (office) or 612-716-4214 (cell). Work during the week of June 10 will continue to focus on the areas of 127^th Avenue and Crane Street. Installation of the new sidewalk on 127^th Avenue was delayed this week, but is expected to be complete next week. Boulevard restoration work along 127^th Avenue and Crane Street will also take place. The Contractor may start performing some utility replacements within the phase 2 area as soon as next week. Residents will be notified 24-hours in advance of any daytime water shut offs.

Street Reconstruction Project 19-2 – 2.3 miles of MSA streets (Foley Boulevard from 115^th Avenue to 124^th Avenue, Wedgewood Drive from Main Street to Round Lake Boulevard, Olive Street from 121^st Avenue to Main Street)

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction. The Contractor's main contact is Dan Bodza, who can be reached at 612-248-7760 (cell). Work during the week of June 10 will include curb and driveway apron removals on southbound Foley Boulevard, as well as various hydrant and valve replacements. Periodic daytime water shut offs will take place – residents will receive a 24-hour notice in advance of any planned water shut offs. Set up of the temporary water system on Olive Street will also take place next week. The temporary water system will require short term water shut offs for residents along and near Olive Street. Notices for water shut offs will be provided in advance of the work.

Street Reconstruction Project 19-3 – 3.3 miles of residential streets

The Contractor for this project is Douglas-Kerr Underground, Inc. The Contractor's main contact is Ryan Kerr, who can be reached at 320-679-8937 (office) or 320-515-0046 (cell). Work during the week of June 10 includes roadway section reconstruction within the Phase 1A area (Flintwood Street, Goldenrod Street, 114^th Avenue, 116^th Avenue, Evergreen Street, Evergreen Circle, and 117^th Avenue). Utility replacements will take place within the Phase 1B area (north half of the Bridgewater neighborhood). Asphalt pavement reclamation is expected on the south half of the Bridgewater neighborhood where watermain pipe replacement is planned.

Trail Reconstruction Project 19-11 – Wedgewood Trail, Nelson Park Trails, and Trackside Park Trails

Construction during the week of June 10 includes asphalt paving of the Wedgewood Trail system.

Anoka County Project – Hanson Boulevard (CSAH 78) Railroad Bridge Overpass

Hanson Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids (north of Coon Rapids Boulevard). The County’s Contractor for this project is C.S McCrossan. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-324-3114.
