Property owners within street reconstruction project areas 19-1 and 19-3 will receive notification letters with project and schedule information in the next few days. Contract award for project 19-2 is anticipated to occur on May 21, 2019; notifications will be mailed shortly thereafter.

Pleasure Creek Culvert Extension at Coon Rapids Boulevard Project 18-18

Construction activities will begin the week of May 20. Initial work includes removals and tree/brush clearing.

Street Reconstruction Project 19-1 – 4 miles of residential streets

The Contractor for this project is North Valley, Inc. The Contractor's main contact is Herb Thielbar, who can be reached at 763-274-2580 (office) or 612-716-4214 (cell). Zach Pfieffer is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Construction activities will begin the week of May 20. Work is anticipated to include curb removals and utility replacements along 127^th Avenue and Crane Street. Property owners will be notified in advance of any temporary daytime water shut offs.

Street Reconstruction Project 19-3 – 3.3 miles of residential streets

The Contractor for this project is Douglas-Kerr Underground, Inc. The Contractor's main contact is Ryan Kerr, who can be reached at 320-679-8937 (office) or 320-515-0046 (cell). Jason Huebscher is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Construction is planned to begin the week of May 20. Initial work includes tree removals, curb removals and utility replacements in the Phase 1A area (Flintwood Street, Goldenrod Street, 114^th Avenue, 116^th Avenue, Evergreen Street, Evergreen Circle, and 117^th Avenue). Property owners will be notified in advance of any temporary daytime water shut offs. Trees planned for removal will be marked with a pink “X”.

Anoka County Project – Hanson Boulevard (CSAH 78) Railroad Bridge Overpass

Hanson Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids (north of Coon Rapids Boulevard). The County’s Contractor for this project is C.S McCrossan. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-324-3114.
