Winter in Coon Rapids
Whether you are welcoming winter with open arms or counting down the days to April, we have programs, events and outdoor activities to get you through. Follow us on Facebook as we post activities for you and your family to enjoy throughout these cold months ahead. 

While you wait for the outdoor rinks to freeze, take advantage of Public Skating at the Coon Rapids Ice Center. Public Skating is scheduled every week and costs $5 per adult, $4 for students ages 6-18 and seniors, children under 5 are free when accompanied by a paid admission. Concessions, skate rentals and skate sharpening services are available for purchase.

• Wednesday: 12:30-2:30 p.m.
• Friday: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Sunday: 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Mark Your Calendars... 

for the Santa visit you won't want to miss! Santa will be at the Ice Center Sunday, Dec. 16 at 5:30-7:30 to skate with you and your family. Open skating begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by Christmas wishes and photo opportunities with Santa. The lights get turned down for some extra fun for the last hour of open skating. Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
