Street Reconstruction Project 18-1 – 4.7 miles of residential streets on the east and west sides of Foley Boulevard, from near Highway 10 to south of Northdale Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is North Valley, Inc. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contacts are Herb Thielbar at 612-716-4214 and Jeff Wunderlich at 612-282-5039. Jason Huebscher is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Jason can be reached at 612-709-2704 (cell).

During the week of June 4, the Contractor plans to complete any remaining curb removals and begin new curb and driveway apron replacements in Area 2 (104^th Lane, 105^th Avenue, 105^th Lane, 106^th Avenue, and Goldenrod Street east of Foley Boulevard). Pavement reclamation is planned for next Tuesday on Cottonwood Street south of 101^st Avenue, as well as on 102^nd Lane east of Foley Boulevard. Remaining storm sewer repairs are also planned for the south end of Cottonwood Street at 99^th Avenue next week.

Street Reconstruction Project 18-2 – 4 miles of residential streets south of Coon Rapids Boulevard near Round Lake Boulevard and streets between Northdale Boulevard and Crooked Lake Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Northwest Asphalt, Inc. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contacts are John Lenarz at 952-220-0684 and John Hamers at 952-292-8470. Zach Pfieffer is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Zach can be reached at 612-710-8243 (cell).

Note: The Contractor plans to perform new curb and driveway apron replacements in areas along 129th Avenue, Marigold Street, 131st Lane, and Silverod Street on Saturday, June 2. No work will begin before 8 a.m., and access to businesses and properties along these streets should not be affected.

During the week of June 4, the Contractor plans to complete curb and driveway apron replacements, topsoil backfill placement, seeding, and irrigation repairs in Area 1 (131^st Lane, Silverod Street, 129^th Avenue, Marigold Street, and Lily Street). Manhole and valve casting adjustments, as well as curb removals, are planned to begin in Area 2 (118^th Lane, 119^th Avenue, 119^th Lane, 120^th Avenue, 121^st Avenue, Eidelweiss Street, and Jonquil Street). Hydrant and valve replacements are also planned to begin next week on 118^th Lane.

Anoka County Project – Hanson Boulevard (CSAH 78) Railroad Bridge Overpass

Hanson Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids (north of Coon Rapids Boulevard). The County’s Contractor for this project is C.S McCrossan. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-862-4250.
