Snowplowing Update

Snowplowing Update 4-15-18 & 4-16-18 - 5 p.m.

Coon Rapids crews have completed snowplowing of residential streets for today. Crews will be out again Monday morning, April 16 starting at 4 a.m. to do further clean-up. If you live in a cul-de-sac, we want you to know a full cleaning of the cul-de-sacs will be finished tomorrow. Sidewalks in school zones will also be plowed tomorrow morning. More snow is predicted for Coon Rapids this evening, and blowing and drifting snow will continue through tomorrow which means further clean-up of the roads will be necessary.

Please help our snowplow crews by making sure all cars are out of the streets tomorrow morning.

Two reminders:
1) Winter parking restrictions remain in effect anytime there is an accumulation of 3 inches of snow or more. We appreciate the public's help in observing these restrictions.
2) City Code requires residents to place garbage and recycling carts behind the curb and out of the roadway. This helps our snowplow drivers clean the streets from curb-to-curb. If it is your garbage and recycling day tomorrow, please help us by placing your carts behind the curb.

Thanks for your help as our snowplow drivers appreciate it and have a good evening!
