Anoka County Project – Foley Boulevard Reconstruction (Egret to Northdale)

Foley Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids. The County’s Contractor for this project is Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-862-4250.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-1 – Neighborhood Streets between Dogwood Street and University Avenue south of Egret Boulevard and north of 101st Avenue

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. For the week of September 25, the Contractor will continue to wrap up any remaining clean-up restorations and signing/striping activities.  

Street Reconstruction Project 17-2 – 101st Avenue, 121st Avenue, and Shenandoah Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. Note: The Contractor plans to perform overnight utility work on 101st Avenue from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.  In order to accomplish the necessary utility work, Dogwood Street on the south side of 101st Avenue will be closed to traffic.  A short-term overnight detour will be set up to provide access to Dogwood Street via 100th Avenue and Cottonwood Street.

During the week of September 25, the Contractor plans to perform remaining watermain installations on 101st Avenue.  

Street Reconstruction Project 17-3 – Local Streets within Burl Oaks Neighborhoods 

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. Ron Sample is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Ron can be reached at 763-257-3874 (cell).

Note: The Contractor plans to continue ancillary boulevard restorations in the phase 3 area on Saturday, September 26, 2017. No impacts to residential driveways are anticipated with this Saturday work.

During the week of September 25, the Contractor will continue work in the phase 3 area streets (Butternut, Cottonwood, Dogwood, Flintwood, Ilex, Holly, Juniper, Kumquat, and Larch Streets – streets adjacent to 121st Avenue, as well as 123rd Avenue east of Foley Boulevard). Work shall include irrigation restorations, boulevard restorations, and miscellaneous concrete sidewalk installations. The Contractor also plans to reclaim Butternut Street, Cottonwood Street, Dogwood Street, Flintwood Street/Circle and 122nd Avenue, preparing to pave these streets possibly by the end of next week. 

Street Reconstruction Project 17-4 – Various Local Streets throughout Coon Rapids 

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. Zach Pfieffer is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Zach can be reached at 612-710-8243 (cell).

For the week of September 25, the Contractor will perform remaining miscellaneous clean up and restoration work on 126th Avenue, 127th Avenue, 127th Lane, Holly Street, and Juniper Street (streets near Bunker Hills Park).  This work includes street sign and remaining mailbox installations.
