Anoka County Project – Foley Boulevard Reconstruction (Egret to Northdale)

Foley Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids. The County’s Contractor for this project is Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-862-4250.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-1 – Neighborhood Streets between Dogwood Street and University Avenue south of Egret Boulevard and north of 101st Avenue

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. Jason Huebscher is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Jason can be reached at 612-709-2704 (cell).

Note: The Contractor plans to install remaining concrete curb & gutter and driveway panels within the phase 3 area on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Property owners will be notified in advance of any driveway access restrictions.  

For the week of September 11, the Contractor will perform boulevard restorations (topsoil placement and seeding) within the phase 3 area (101st Lane, 102nd Avenue and Lane, 103rd Avenue, Butternut Street and Cottonwood Street). Additionally, the Contractor will prepare these roads for asphalt paving (currently expected early the week of September 18).

Street Reconstruction Project 17-2 – 101st Avenue, 121st Avenue, and Shenandoah Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. Note: The Contractor plans to pave the new asphalt trail on the north side of 101st Avenue on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Property owners will be notified in advance of any driveway access restrictions.  

During the week of September 11, the Contractor will complete removal of excess gravel material on Shenandoah Boulevard, with the goal of paving this road by the end of the week. In addition, the Contractor plans to finalize remaining concrete work and boulevard restorations along 101st Avenue, with the goal of switching traffic to stage 2 on the week of September 18.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-3 – Local Streets within Burl Oaks Neighborhoods 

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. Ron Sample is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Ron can be reached at 763-257-3874 (cell).

During the week of September 11, the Contractor will continue installation of curb and gutter on phase 3 area streets (Butternut, Cottonwood, Dogwood, Flintwood, Ilex, Holly, Juniper, Kumquat, and Larch Streets – streets adjacent to 121st Avenue, as well as 123rd Avenue east of Foley Boulevard). The Contractor will notify residents in advance of any driveway access restrictions. 

Street Reconstruction Project 17-4 – Various Local Streets throughout Coon Rapids 

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. Zach Pfieffer is the City’s full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Zach can be reached at 612-710-8243 (cell).

For the week of September 11, the Contractor will work on boulevard restorations (topsoil placement and seeding), and adjust castings in preparation of asphalt paving on 126th Avenue, 127th Avenue, 127th Lane, Holly Street, and Juniper Street (streets near Bunker Hills Park). Paving of these streets is currently anticipated to occur during the week of September 18.
