Anoka County Project – Foley Boulevard Reconstruction (Egret to Northdale)

Foley Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids. The County’s Contractor for this project is Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-862-4250.

Dakotah Street Reconstruction adjacent to Mercy Hospital

Dakotah Street from Coon Rapids Boulevard to approximately 600-feet south is being reconstructed in conjunction with the Mercy Hospital expansion. The Contractor is Bolander Construction.

At this time, the road is fully open to traffic, and completion of remaining street reconstruction work is currently scheduled for the week of August 14.

Please note: Final wear course paving is scheduled on Saturday, August 19 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-1 – Neighborhood Streets between Dogwood Street and University Avenue south of Egret Boulevard and north of 101^st Avenue

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. For the week of August 14, asphalt paving is scheduled to take place on Monday and Tuesday for phase 1 and 2 streets. On Monday, paving is planned on 104^th Avenue, 104^th Lane, Alder Street, Butternut Street, and the University Avenue Service Road. On Tuesday, paving activities will include Dogwood Street and 105^th Avenue.

Please note: On Saturday, August 12, the Contractor will perform miscellaneous casting adjustments and grading work in advance of paving operations in the phase 1 and 2 areas.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-2 – 101st Avenue, 121st Avenue, and Shenandoah Boulevard

During the week of August 14, watermain construction work will continue on 101^st Avenue, which will include service extensions and re-establishments. The Contractor will also perform storm sewer catch basin replacements on 101^st Avenue and Shenandoah Boulevard.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-3 – Local Streets within Burl Oaks Neighborhoods

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. During the week of August 14, remaining concrete work is scheduled on 123^rd Avenue, 120^th Lane, Ilex Street, and Juniper Street. The Contractor also plans to perform boulevard restorations and irrigation repairs.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-4 – Various Local Streets throughout Coon Rapids

For the week of August 14, asphalt paving is anticipated to occur on 93^rd Avenue and 93^rd Lane. Valve and hydrant replacement work will continue on Golf View (127th Lane and Juniper Street) and Highland Manor streets (126th and 127th Avenue and Holly Street).

Trail Construction Project 17-10 – Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension

Trail Construction Project 17-11 – Coon Rapids Boulevard / Egret Boulevard Trail
