Anoka County Project – Foley Boulevard Reconstruction (Egret to Northdale)

Foley Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids. The County’s Contractor for this project is Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-862-4250.

Dakotah Street Reconstruction adjacent to Mercy Hospital

Dakotah Street from Coon Rapids Boulevard to approximately 600-feet south is being reconstructed in conjunction with the Mercy Hospital expansion. The Contractor is Bolander Construction.

At this time, the road is fully open to traffic, and completion of remaining street reconstruction work is currently scheduled between August 7 and August 19.

Please note: final wear course paving is scheduled on Saturday, August 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-1 – Neighborhood Streets between Dogwood Street and University Avenue south of Egret Boulevard and north of 101^st Avenue

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. For the week of August 7, asphalt paving is scheduled during the latter part of the week for phase 1 and 2 streets. The Contractor also plans to perform valve and hydrant replacements and street reclamation in the phase 3 area.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-2 – 101st Avenue, 121st Avenue, and Shenandoah Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. During the week of August 7, watermain construction work will continue on 101^st Avenue to perform a watermain pipe connection to University Avenue.

Please note: on Monday and Tuesday, August 7 and 8, work is scheduled during overnight hours (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.) on University Avenue at 101st Avenue.

Also, curb removals are anticipated on Shenandoah Boulevard. Pending progress, pavement reclamation may occur as well.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-3 – Local Streets within Burl Oaks Neighborhoods

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. During the week of August 7, remaining concrete work on 123^rd Avenue, 120^th Lane, Ilex Street, and Juniper Street will be performed, as well as boulevard restorations and irrigation repairs. Ancillary storm sewer catch basin repairs and replacements will take place on 123^rd Avenue.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-4 – Various Local Streets throughout Coon Rapids

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. For the week of August 7, asphalt paving is expected on Linnet Circle.

Please note: concrete driveway restorations are planned along 93^rd Avenue and 93^rd Lane on Saturday, August 5. Asphalt paving is anticipated to occur on these streets by the end of next week.

Also, valve and hydrant replacement work is expected to take place on Golf View (127th Lane and Juniper Street) and Highland Manor streets (126th and 127th Avenue and Holly Street).

Trail Construction Project 17-10 – Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension

During the week of August 7, the Contractor plans to pave the trail and adjacent side streets on Thursday and Friday, August 10 and 11.

Trail Construction Project 17-11 – Coon Rapids Boulevard / Egret Boulevard Trail

For the week of August 7, the Contractor expects to pave the Egret Boulevard trail segment between the Coon Rapids Boulevard Service Road and Coon Rapids Boulevard. Removals will take place along Egret Boulevard between Coon Rapids Boulevard Service Road and the City well station. Restoration work will continue on previously paved segments of the trail.
