Anoka County Project – Foley Boulevard Reconstruction (Egret to Northdale)

Dakotah Street Reconstruction adjacent to Mercy Hospital

Dakotah Street from Coon Rapids Boulevard to approximately 600-feet south is being reconstructed in conjunction with the Mercy Hospital expansion. The Contractor is Bolander Construction. At this time, the road is fully open to traffic, and completion of remaining street reconstruction work is currently scheduled between August 7 and August 18.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-1 – Neighborhood Streets between Dogwood Street and University Avenue south of Egret Boulevard and north of 101^st Avenue

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. For the week of July 31, remaining topsoil and seeding placement and driveway restorations are scheduled for all streets currently under construction. Driveway aprons will be restored on 104^th Lane, Alder Street, and Butternut Street. Preparation for asphalt paving will also take place on each street currently under construction. We anticipate the same streets will receive new asphalt the week of August 7.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-2 – 101st Avenue, 121st Avenue, and Shenandoah Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. Please note: Asphalt base paving on 121^st Avenue is planned for Saturday, July 29. The work will take place from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 7:00 p.m. This road will be open to local traffic only during the paving process.

During the week of July 31, hydrant, valve, and ancillary storm sewer catch basin replacement work is scheduled on Shenandoah Boulevard. Permanent watermain installations on 101^st Avenue will continue throughout next week.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-3 – Local Streets within Burl Oaks Neighborhoods

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. During the week of July 31, miscellaneous hand-formed curb and sidewalk work will take place on 123^rd Avenue. Additionally, machine-poured curb will be installed on 120^th Lane, Ilex Street, and Juniper Street. The Contractor may begin work on catch basin replacements on 123^rd Avenue.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-4 – Various Local Streets throughout Coon Rapids

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. For the week of July 31, the Contractor will restore boulevard areas on 93^rd Avenue and 93^rd Lane, as well as grade the road base in preparation for asphalt paving. Miscellaneous hydrant and valve replacements are anticipated to begin midweek on the Golf View (127^th Lane and Juniper Street) and Highland Manor streets (126^th and 127^th Avenue and Holly Street).

Trail Construction Project 17-10 – Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension

Throughout the week of July 31, the Contractor will work on finish grading the trail base and side slopes.

For the week of July 31, the Contractor plans to continue work on the big block retaining wall system located on the west side of Egret Boulevard between Coon Rapids Boulevard Service Road and the City well station.
