Anoka County Project – Foley Boulevard Reconstruction (Egret to Northdale)

Foley Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids. The County’s Contractor for this project is Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-862-4250.

Dakotah Street Reconstruction adjacent to Mercy Hospital

Dakotah Street from Coon Rapids Boulevard to approximately 600-feet south is being reconstructed in conjunction with the Mercy Hospital expansion. The Contractor is Bolander Construction. At this time, the road is fully open to traffic, and completion of remaining street reconstruction work is on hold until August 2017.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-1 – Neighborhood Streets between Dogwood Street and University Avenue south of Egret Boulevard and north of 101^st Avenue

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. For the week of July 24, it’s anticipated that remaining concrete work in the phase 1 and 2 areas will be completed. Boulevard restorations consisting of topsoil placement and seeding will take place after completion of the concrete work.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-2 – 101st Avenue, 121st Avenue, and Shenandoah Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. During the week of July 24, the Contractor plans to begin setting up the temporary watermain system required on 101^st Avenue. Permanent watermain installations along 101^st Avenue beginning at Foley Boulevard are planned. Weather pending, the paving of 121^st Avenue between Foley Boulevard and University Avenue is expected next week. Ancillary storm sewer and utility work is anticipated to occur on Shenandoah Boulevard.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-3 – Local Streets within Burl Oaks Neighborhoods

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. During the week of July 24, remaining concrete removals will take place on 120^th Lane, Ilex Street, and Juniper Street.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-4 – Various Local Streets throughout Coon Rapids

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. For the week of July 24, the Contractor plans to install new concrete curb and gutter on 93^rd Avenue and 93^rd Lane. Concrete driveway restorations are also anticipated on these two streets.

Trail Construction Project 17-10 – Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension

Curb and gutter installation is now expected to occur along Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension from Coon Rapids Boulevard to 99th Avenue during the week of July 24. Remaining storm sewer installations should be completed next week as well.

Trail Construction Project 17-11 – Coon Rapids Boulevard / Egret Boulevard Trail

For the week of July 24, the Contractor plans to begin work on the big block retaining wall system to be located on the west side of Egret Boulevard between the Coon Rapids Boulevard Service Road to the City well station.
