Anoka County Project – Foley Boulevard Reconstruction (Egret to Northdale)

Foley Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids. The County’s Contractor for this project is Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-862-4250.

Dakotah Street Reconstruction adjacent to Mercy Hospital

Dakotah Street from Coon Rapids Boulevard to approximately 600-feet south is being reconstructed in conjunction with the Mercy Hospital expansion. The Contractor is Bolander Construction. At this time, the road is fully open to traffic, and completion of remaining street reconstruction work is on hold until August 2017.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-1 – Neighborhood Streets between Dogwood Street and University Avenue south of Egret Boulevard and north of 101^st Avenue

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. For the week of July 17, utility work within the phase 1 and 2 areas is anticipated to be complete by mid-week. Excavation, subgrade, and gravel placement will occur on 104^th Avenue and 104^th Lane. Mailbox restorations are expected throughout the areas currently under construction. New curb and gutter installations may occur on 104^th Lane, Alder Street, and Butternut Street.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-2 – 101^st Avenue, 121^st Avenue, and Shenandoah Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Nate at 612-360-9295. Please note: on Saturday, July 15, pavement reclamation is scheduled to occur on 101^st Avenue. The road will be open to traffic during this process.

Curb removals are scheduled for 101^st Avenue beginning Tuesday, July 18. Additionally, the Contractor plans to complete remaining sanitary manhole rehabilitations on 121^st Avenue. Preparation work will then continue on 121^st Avenue in advance of asphalt paving. The Contractor anticipates paving 121^st Avenue either late next week or early the week of July 24.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-3 – Local Streets within Burl Oaks Neighborhoods

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. During the week of July 17, dewatering for hydrant replacements in The Timbers townhome association area will begin on Monday. Actual hydrant replacements in that area are scheduled mid-week. The Contractor also plans to perform a valve replacement at 120^th Lane and Goldenrod Circle. Curb removals will continue on 120^th Lane, Ilex Street, and Juniper Street.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-4 – Various Local Streets throughout Coon Rapids

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. For the week of July 17, the Contractor plans to reclaim 93^rd Avenue, 93^rd Lane, and Linnet Circle.

Trail Construction Project 17-10 – Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension

Curb and gutter installation is anticipated to occur along Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension from Coon Rapids Boulevard to 99^th Avenue during the week of July 17. Additional storm sewer installations and grading/embankment work will continue.

Trail Construction Project 17-11 – Coon Rapids Boulevard / Egret Boulevard Trail

For the week of July 17, the Contractor plans to complete excavation and gravel work south of the City well to 99^th Avenue and pave the new segment of trail. This work is contingent upon private utility relocation work required in the area. Pending progress made, the trail segment along Coon Rapids Boulevard could also be paved next week.
