Coon Rapids Blvd. Extension Closed

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad intends to perform concrete bridge repairs on its single track line that crosses Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension.

The bridge repairs will require the closure of Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension in the area of the railroad crossing from Monday, July 10 to Monday, August 7,
2017.

The work involves chipping loose concrete off the existing single track railroad bridge, and replacing with new concrete. No work is planned for the double track crossing. Traffic will be detoured around the work during the construction period.
