Anoka County Project – Foley Boulevard Reconstruction (Egret to Northdale)

Dakotah Street Reconstruction adjacent to Mercy Hospital

Dakotah Street from Coon Rapids Boulevard to approximately 600-feet south is being reconstructed in conjunction with the Mercy Hospital expansion. The Contractor is Bolander Construction. At this time, the road is fully open to traffic, and completion of remaining street reconstruction work is on hold until August 2017.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-1 – Neighborhood Streets between Dogwood Street and University Avenue south of Egret Boulevard and north of 101^st Avenue

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Tom Breyfogle at 612-360-9295. For the week of July 10, the Contractor plans to complete the topsoil placement and seeding work needed on Dogwood Street and 105^th Avenue. Water service re-establishments are planned for 104^th Lane. Curb and gutter installations are expected on 104^th Avenue. In addition, concrete driveway aprons are planned to be poured on 104^th Avenue. Fine grading of gravel base in preparation for paving is anticipated on Dogwood Street by the end of next week.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-2 – 101^st Avenue, 121^st Avenue, and Shenandoah Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Tom Breyfogle at 612-360-9295. For the week of July 10, the Contractor plans to complete installation of concrete driveways and valley gutters along 121^st Avenue. Pavement reclamation of 121^st Avenue is planned for Thursday, July 13.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-3 – Local Streets within Burl Oaks Neighborhoods

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. During the week of July 10, hydrant replacement work is scheduled at 120^th Lane and Ilex Street. Curb removals are anticipated to begin on the phase two streets consisting of 123^rd Avenue, 120^th Lane, Ilex Street, and Juniper Street.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-4 – Various Local Streets throughout Coon Rapids

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. For the week of July 10, the Contractor anticipates reclaiming Killdeer, Ibis, and Grouse Streets, 129^th Circle, and 121^st Lane/Osage Street (west of Shenandoah Boulevard). Asphalt paving on some of these street segments is planned for by the end of next week. Residents will be notified in advance of paving operations. Curb removals will continue on 93^rd Lane.

Trail Construction Project 17-10 – Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension

For the week of July 10, the Contractor plans to continue with topsoil stripping and muck exaction required along Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension. Pavement reclamation is anticipated on the service road connection between Quince Street and Palm Street. The Contractor may begin work on a portion of the storm sewer culvert installations by the end of next week.

Trail Construction Project 17-11 – Coon Rapids Boulevard / Egret Boulevard Trail

For the week of July 10, the Contractor plans to install gravel base in preparation for the new trail along Egret Boulevard, and to complete modular block wall installations along both Coon Rapids Boulevard and Egret Boulevard. Some portions of the trail may be paved along Coon Rapids Boulevard and the south portion of Egret Boulevard by the end of next week.
