Anoka County Project – Foley Boulevard Reconstruction (Egret to Northdale)

Foley Boulevard is a County road in Coon Rapids. The County’s Contractor for this project is Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. Harry Grams is the County’s Construction Supervisor, and can be contacted at 763-862-4250.

Dakotah Street Reconstruction adjacent to Mercy Hospital

Dakotah Street from Coon Rapids Boulevard to approximately 600-feet south is being reconstructed in conjunction with the Mercy Hospital expansion. The Contractor is Bolander Construction. At this time, the road is fully open to traffic, and completion of remaining street reconstruction work is on-hold until August 2017.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-1 – Neighborhood Streets between Dogwood Street and University Avenue south of Egret Boulevard and north of 101^st Avenue

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Tom Breyfogle at 612-360-9295. For the week of June 26, the Contractor plans to place topsoil in the boulevards along Dogwood Street. Subgrade excavation and gravel placement will take place on 104^th Avenue. Miscellaneous concrete installations are planned to occur at the intersections of Dogwood Street from 104^th Avenue north to 105^th Avenue. Temporary watermain construction will take place on 104^th Lane, after which the Contractor will begin installation of the permanent watermain system in the same area.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-2 – 101^st Avenue, 121^st Avenue, and Shenandoah Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Tom Breyfogle at 612-360-9295. The Contractor plans to complete curb removals on 121^st Avenue during the week of June 26. In addition, replacements of concrete valley gutters are planned for the north side of 121^st Avenue.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-3 – Local Streets within Burl Oaks Neighborhoods

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. During the week of June 26, it’s anticipated that asphalt paving will occur in the following areas: Norway Street, Magnolia Street, Larch Circle, Holly Street north of 123^rd Avenue, and Goldenrod Circle.

Street Reconstruction Project 17-4 – Various Local Streets throughout Coon Rapids

The Contractor for this project is North Valley. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Rodney Riemann at 612-328-7536. Curb and gutter installations are planned to continue on Killdeer, Ibis, and Grouse Streets the week of June 26. The same work will also occur on Linnet Circle, as well as 121^st Lane and Osage Street (both west of Shenandoah Boulevard).

Trail Construction Project 17-10 – Coon Rapids Boulevard Extension

Work on this project is anticipated to begin on July 5, 2017.

Trail Construction Project 17-11 – Coon Rapids Boulevard / Egret Boulevard Trail

Work on this project is anticipated to begin the week of June 26, 2017. Initial project work will focus only on the reconstruction of the Coon Rapids Boulevard segment of trail.
