AKASPORT Camps provide a great alternative to daycare (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.). These camps are active, social and physically engaging. Weekly field trips include visits to water parks, Twins, Saints and Lynx games, Valley Fair and more!

Fee: $195-$235 per week or $2,200 for the entire summer.

Summer Park Play Days

This program for kids grades K-5 focuses on youth development through teaching and demonstrating values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Your child will build positive relationships with peers and trained leaders while having fun with games, art projects, sports and more in a safe outdoor environment! The location of these activities rotates between Sand Creek Park (SC 1008 Northdale Blvd.) and Riverview Park (RV 2420 105th Ave.)

Sign up Now for Safety Camp

The Coon Rapids fire and police departments are teaming up to teach kids a variety of skills that will help them stay safe. Safety camp is a chance for Coon Rapids students entering 4th and 5th grades in the fall of 2017 to learn important safety skills including: water, fire and electrical safety, basic first aid and how to use 911. A graduation ceremony will take place July 19.

Dates: July 18 and 19, 2017

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Location: Coon Rapids Ice Center, 11000 Crooked Lake Blvd.

Class fee: $40 registration fee* (fee covers supplies, a t-shirt, snacks, lunch, and transportation to and from the swimming pool).
