Outdoor Skating Rinks Open December 19

City parks with outdoor skating and hockey rinks will be open from December 19 through mid-February, weather permitting.

Hours of operation:
Monday - Friday 5-8:30 p.m.
Weekends and school out days: 1-8:30 p.m.

Skating rinks are located at the following parks:
Thorpe Park - 2691 Carlson Drive
Wintercrest Park - 10300 Woodcrest Drive
Riverview Park - 2420 105th Ave.

The Coon Rapids Ice Center (11000 Crooked Lake Boulevard) also features outdoor skating on a 1/4 mile skating trail which will open in late December/early January. Indoor public skating is also available at the facility on Wednesdays & Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. during the winter months.
