85th Avenue Trail Construction (Project 14-27)

The City has requested ancillary widening of the new trail as it approaches the railroad tracks to reduce the sharp trail curvature, and to create additional buffer space where the trail is located behind the curb & gutter. This work is anticipated to occur this fall. 

MSA Street Reconstruction (Project 16-1 – Evergreen Boulevard Area)

The Contractor for this project is Park Construction Company. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Derick Sonnenberg at 612-791-4350. Next week, the Contractor plans to continue roadway final grading on Evergreen Boulevard at the location asphalt paving stopped on Thursday, October 6 – from south of 87th Lane to 85th Avenue. The remaining segment of asphalt is expected to be completed on Tuesday, October 11.

Asphalt driveway patching is also planned to begin on Tuesday with work continuing into Wednesday. Remaining concrete sidewalk installation work will begin on Tuesday, and continue throughout the week.

MSA Street Reconstruction (Project 16-2 – Mississippi Boulevard Area)

The Contractor for this project is Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Tim Matteson at 651-248-4708. Ron Sample is the City's full-time project inspector, and can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Ron can be reached at 763-257-3874.

During the week of October 10, the Contractor plans to replace gravel from Bittersweet Street to Xavis Street. Concrete curb and gutter installation is planned for this same area on October 12 or 13. Boulevard restorations will continue throughout all other areas of the project.

MSA Street Reconstruction (Project 16-3 – Mississippi Drive Area; Segments of Crooked Lake Boulevard/128th Avenue)

The Contractor for this project is C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Wayne Fluharty at 612-919-3018. Seeding is planned to occur on October 7 or 8 on Mississippi Drive and Round Lake Boulevard. If seeding in this area does not take place on Friday or Saturday, it will be completed early next week.

Final signing and striping is planned for Mississippi Drive and Round Lake Boulevard the week of October 10.

Ongoing punch list items along Crooked Lake Boulevard, 128th Avenue, Round Lake Boulevard and Mississippi Drive will continue throughout next week.  

MSA Street Reconstruction (Project 16-4 – Segments of Xeon Street, 113th Avenue/Dogwood Street/115th Avenue, and Egret Boulevard)

The Contractor for this project is North Valley, Inc. The Contractor's 24-hour emergency contact is Stewart Packer at 763-286-7341.
