Come to this free event and enjoy learning about Coon Rapids Public Works! Take a tour of the Public Works facility and check out snowplows, tractors and the other "big rigs." Learn about the Recycling Center along with other services provided to the community. Perfect for the entire family!

Movie in the Park

Movie in the Park is a free family friendly event that includes a movie out on the lawn of a Coon Rapids park. Concessions will be available for purchase starting at 7:45 p.m.

Summer Concert Series

Thursday Nights Starting June 1, 7 p.m.

Coon Rapids Regional Dam Park Performance Pavilion, 9750 Egret Blvd.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of free entertainment. Anoka County Parks is a partner for this event and waives the park entrance fee for the evening. There will be no shuttling available from the visitor center to the concert pavilion this year, but a drop-off/pick-up area is available near the pavilion.

Concessions available for sale from the Coon Rapids Lions and Boy Scout Troop #524.

Neighborhood Meetings

It's almost Summer in the City! Stop by any of the three meetings and visit with City staff, ask questions and learn more about Coon Rapids. Check out City vehicles like fire trucks, police vehicles and more on display and enjoy family-friendly entertainment.

Youth Summer Programs

RevSports Programs

Sand Creek Park, 1008 Northdale Blvd.

The City is offering activities from Revolutionary Sports including soccer, baseball and flag football. All equipment is provided, and small class sizes encourage fun and keep participants active. There are classes throughout the summer in four week sessions for ages 2-10.

Sessions available Wednesday evenings: May 17-June 7, June 14-July12,
July 19-Aug. 9, Aug. 16-Sept. 6, Sept. 13-Oct. 4

Bach to Rock Music Programs

Bach to Rock camps give kids a fun musical way to spend a week learning, making friends, and expanding a love of music. The camps offered are Rock City World Tour Camp, Glee Club Camp and Rock Band Camp. Let loose their inner star and jam out in these unique camps. Camps offered for ages 4 to 14.

Sessions available: June 12-16, June 19-23, July 10-14, July 24-28
