Snowflake Days is Almost Here!

Let it snow! Enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities during the 59th annual Snowflake Days celebration from Feb. 4-11! Yearly favorites like the snow sculpture contest and medallion hunt return... and this year there is a NEW day of fun planned at Sand Creek Park!

Snow Sculpture Contest

Get creative with snow by entering the snow sculpture contest! Sign up by Feb. 8. Judging will take place on Feb. 10.

Medallion Hunt

Begins Saturday, Feb. 4

The annual medallion hunt is back! Go to the Snowflake Days website for rules and to find daily hints on the medallion's location. First to find the medallion wins a cash prize!

Miss Coon Rapids Scholarship Pageant

Saturday, Feb. 4 at 4 p.m.
Coon Rapids High School, 2340 Northdale Blvd.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. - enter through Door 1. Tickets are $20 and all proceeds go toward scholarships.

Lions Waffle Breakfast

Sunday, Feb. 5, 8 a.m. to noon

Sand Creek Elementary, 12156 Olive St.

Join us for the free annual Lion's Waffle Breakfast! There will also be a bake sale in support of Coon Rapids Women of Today. Donations will be accepted with proceeds benefiting programs within Coon Rapids Police Department.

Family Fun Day at CRIC

Sunday, Feb. 5 from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
11000 Crooked Lake Blvd.

Come to the Coon Rapids Ice Center for a fun evening of FREE skating on the outdoor and indoor ice rinks! Play games, skate, and have a good time! Skate rentals are available for purchase.

4:30-5:30 p.m. - Outdoor skating and games

5:30-7:30 p.m. - Free public skate

Mayor's Cup

Bunker Hills Golf Club, 12800 Bunker Prairie Rd.

Test your indoor golfing skills during the simulator golf tournament at Bunker Hills Golf Club! The event ends with finals on Feb. 11 at 12:30 p.m.

Winter Fun at Sand Creek Park

Saturday, Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
1008 Northdale Blvd.

End Snowflake Days with a fun day at Sand Creek Park! Enjoy outdoor skating, a build a snowman contest, and bring a non-perishable food donation for ACBC Food Shelf.

FREE hotdogs, cookies and hot chocolate while supplies last.

10-11 a.m. - Kids Medallion Hunt

12-2 p.m. - Cookies & Canvas painting activity

2:15 p.m. - Awards Ceremony for Medallion Hunt & Build a Snowman Contest
