Street Reconstruction Update

Project 15-15 – Northdale Boulevard/Redwood Street Signalization


The Contractor for this project is Valley Paving, Inc. Initial work performed this week included the removal of concrete curb and gutter, sections of sidewalk and driveways, and trees as necessary. Next week, the Contractor will work on grading for a new sidewalk north of Northdale Blvd. and grading south of Northdale Blvd. to widen the existing road/turn lane. 

Project 16-1 – MSA Street Reconstruction (Evergreen Boulevard Area)


Bids on this project were accepted on April 25, 2016. The City anticipates awarding a contract on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 to the low bidder, Park Construction Company. Work is expected to begin mid-May. Residents and businesses affected will be sent specific schedule and project information via US Mail once a contract is awarded.

Project 16-2 – MSA Street Reconstruction (Mississippi Boulevard Area)


Bids on this project were accepted on April 22, 2016. The City anticipates awarding a contract on May 3, 2016 to the low bidder, Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. Work is expected to begin mid-May. Residents and businesses affected will be sent specific schedule and project information via US Mail once a contract is awarded.

16-3 – MSA Street Reconstruction (Mississippi Drive Area; Segments of Crooked Lake Boulevard/128th Avenue)


Bids will be accepted May 6, 2016, and the City anticipates awarding a contract on May 17, 2016. Work is expected to begin late May/early June. Residents and businesses affected will be sent specific schedule and project information via US Mail once a Contractor is identified.

16-4 – MSA Street Reconstruction (Segments of Xeon Street, 133rd Avenue/Dogwood Street/115th Avenue, and Egret Boulevard)


Bids on this project were accepted on April 22, 2016. The City anticipates awarding a contract on May 3, 2016 to the low bidder, North Valley, Inc. Work is expected to begin mid-May. Residents and businesses affected will be sent specific schedule and project information via US Mail once a contract is awarded.
