The free Thanksgiving dinner on page 12 at the Senior Center is on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 3-6 p.m. NOT on Wednesday, Nov. 16.
Correct the date on your calendars and come on Tuesday, Nov. 15! The online newsletter has been corrected, but your printed or downloaded newsletters may have the old date. Sorry for the confusion!

Donations Needed For the Senior Center BazaarDrop Off Hours: Tuesday, Oct. 25 through Tuesday, Nov. 8 10 a.m. to Noon New craft items, flea market finds, home décor, holiday decorations and used jewelry are needed! Please drop them off at the Senior Center between the dates listed above. Volunteers will be available to assist you. All proceeds benefit local charities.
Baked goods can be dropped off on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
No clothing or electronics, please.

Health Insurance CounselingThis one-on-one program can assist in helping navigate the process of enrolling in Medicare or supplemental health insurance policies. Transportation to the Senior CenterIf you need a ride to and from the Senior Center, call us at 763-767-6473. We have volunteer drivers who will transport you. The cost is $1 each way. We are also doing shopping trips for $3 round trip. See the calendar in our newsletter for dates and places. To schedule a ride, please call two days in advance. You must be able to get in and out of the van independently. The vehicles are not equipped for wheelchairs. Only available for Coon Rapids residents.

Defensive Driving Classes4 hour in-person refresher classes starting soon!Take one of these every three years if you are 55+ and receive a 10% discount on car insurance if you have previously taken the 8 hour online course. The 8 hour course is online at minnesotasafetycouncil.org.
