2022 Street Reconstruction Project 22-1

4.2 miles of residential streets north of 119^th Avenue and east of Round Lake Boulevard, including streets south of 119^th Avenue south to 117^th Avenue between Kerry Street and Jonquil Street; and the 117^th Lane cul-de-sac east of Northdale Boulevard

The Contractor for this project is Douglas-Kerr Underground, LLC. The Contractor’s main contact is Ryan Kerr at 320-679-8937 (office) or 320-515-0046 (cell). The City’s full-time project inspector is Jason Huebscher, who can be contacted any time to respond to specific questions or concerns. Miscellaneous valve, hydrant, and storm sewer replacements are planned to wrap up in the phase 3 area (Wedgewood Drive between Round Lake Boulevard and 119^th Avenue including all adjacent side streets) the week of July 18. Curb removals in the phase 3 area are now scheduled to take place next week on the north streets of phase 3.

In the combined project phase 4 area (streets north of 119^th Avenue and east of Round Lake Boulevard to 121^st Avenue including 120^th Avenue and Tulip Street), asphalt base paving has been rescheduled to take place on the north streets of phase 4 by the middle of next week. Remaining curbs in phase 4 will also be installed on Vintage and Undercliff Streets, plus streets in the north portion of phase 4.

Miscellaneous valve, hydrant, and storm sewer replacements will begin within phase 5 (streets south of 119^th Avenue between Kerry and Jonquil Street plus the Marigold and Kerry Street cul-de-sacs north of 119^th Avenue plus 117^th Lane east of Northdale Blvd) next week.

3.6 miles of residential streets north of 119^th Avenue along Zea Street west of Round Lake Boulevard and south of Wedgewood Drive; Zea Street between 119^th Avenue and Blackfoot Street; streets south of 119^th Avenue and north of Coon Rapids Boulevard between Round Lake Boulevard and Silverod Street

Sod and topsoil installations are wrapping up in the phase 1 area (streets west of Round Lake Boulevard along Zea Street). Final asphalt wear course paving is also planned to occur in phase 1 the week of July 18.

City staff have received numerous requests to restore yards disturbed by Comcast relocation work – we are forwarding these requests to Comcast staff, who have assured the City they will restore any areas disturbed by their work with topsoil and seed.

In the phase 2 area (streets east of Round Lake Blvd and south of 119^th Avenue), work on irrigation repairs will continue. Topsoil and sod will be placed in boulevard areas of phase 2 streets as soon as irrigation repairs are complete. Asphalt base paving on the Silverod Street cul-de-sac south of 119^th Avenue has been rescheduled for mid next week.
