2022 Construction is Underway!

2022 Street Reconstruction Project 22-1

4.2 miles of residential streets north of 119^th Avenue and east of Round Lake Boulevard, including streets south of 119^th Avenue south to 117^th Avenue between Kerry Street and Jonquil Street; and the 117^th Lane cul-de-sac east of Northdale Boulevard

Work next week in the combined project phase 4 area (streets north of 119^th Avenue and east of Round Lake Boulevard to 121^st Avenue including 120^th Avenue and Tulip Street) includes completion of remaining water service reinstatements within the watermain replacement area. Curb work will also be performed on the north end of phase 4 (area outside full watermain pipe replacement segments).

Miscellaneous valve, hydrant, and storm sewer replacements will continue next week in the phase 3 area (Wedgewood Drive between Round Lake Boulevard and 119^th Avenue including all adjacent side streets). Comcast will continue with its remaining utility relocations within the phase 3 area that must occur prior to major street reconstruction operations. It’s expected that major street reconstruction operations will begin by mid-July in phase 3.

2022 Street Reconstruction Project 22-2

3.6 miles of residential streets north of 119^th Avenue along Zea Street west of Round Lake Boulevard and south of Wedgewood Drive; Zea Street between 119^th Avenue and Blackfoot Street; streets south of 119^th Avenue and north of Coon Rapids Boulevard between Round Lake Boulevard and Silverod Street

Irrigation repairs will continue all next week in both the phase 1 area (streets west of Round Lake Boulevard along Zea Street) and the phase 2 area (streets east of Round Lake Blvd and south of 119^th Avenue). Some areas of phase 1 may begin to see topsoil and sod installations by the end of next week.

Remaining concrete flat work is scheduled for both phase 1 and 2 next week. Machine placed curb is scheduled for the Silverod Street section of phase 2 just south of 119^th Avenue for July 6 and 7. Bituminous asphalt driveways in phase 2 will also be repaved next week.
