2022 Construction is Underway!

2022 Street Reconstruction Project 22-1

4.2 miles of residential streets north of 119^th Avenue and east of Round Lake Boulevard, including streets south of 119^th Avenue south to 117^th Avenue between Kerry Street and Jonquil Street; and the 117^th Lane cul-de-sac east of Northdale Boulevard

Work next week in the combined project phase 4 area (streets north of 119^th Avenue and east of Round Lake Boulevard to 121^st Avenue including 120^th Avenue and Tulip Street) includes miscellaneous valve, hydrant, and storm sewer replacements on the north end of phase 4, as well as mainline watermain replacements along the south portion of phase 4.

Miscellaneous valve, hydrant, and storm sewer replacements are planned to begin in the phase 3 area (Wedgewood Drive between Round Lake Boulevard and 119^th Avenue including all adjacent side streets) the week of July 4. Comcast is now more than halfway done with the utility relocation work in phase 3 that must occur prior to major street reconstruction operations. Comcast and its Subcontractors will continue with their phase 3 relocation work all next week. Its expected that major street reconstruction operations will begin by mid-July in phase 3.

2022 Street Reconstruction Project 22-2

3.6 miles of residential streets north of 119^th Avenue along Zea Street west of Round Lake Boulevard and south of Wedgewood Drive; Zea Street between 119^th Avenue and Blackfoot Street; streets south of 119^th Avenue and north of Coon Rapids Boulevard between Round Lake Boulevard and Silverod Street

Irrigation repairs are scheduled for the phase 1 area (streets west of Round Lake Boulevard along Zea Street) for most of next week. Topsoil and sod installations will occur after irrigation repairs are complete in phase 1.

Paving of the base layer of asphalt pavement is planned for Friday next week (July 1) in the phase 2 area (streets east of Round Lake Blvd and south of 119^th Avenue). Irrigation repairs in phase 2 will take place following installation of new asphalt pavement.
