Summer Concerts Starting Soon!

Come down to the Coon Rapids Dam to watch the free summer concert series! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and get ready for the show.

No shuttling will be available this year from the visitor center to the concert pavilion, but a drop-off/pick-up area is available near the pavilion.

Coon Rapids Bike Rodeo

NEW Youth Event!

This is your one stop for everything bike safety! Ride on down to the Coon Rapids Bike Rodeo to get the do's and don'ts of riding from Coon Rapids Police. Police will also help fit your child to their bike and have helmets for sale for only $10!

Rec on the Spot, Activities in your neighborhood

Rec on the Spot will kick-off June 13 and runs weekly through August 11.

Rec on the spot is a staffed, mobile recreation unit that will make scheduled stops at designated parks throughout the summer engaging youth and teens between ages 5-14 in fun activities.

This program is FREE to all participants on a drop-in basis; no pre-registration required. No supervision is provided before or after the designated program times.

Summer in the City Neighborhood meetings

It's time for Summer in the City!

Stop by any of the neighborhood meetings to visit with City staff, ask questions and learn more about Coon Rapids. Families will enjoy the fire trucks, police cars and public works equipment on display.... and get a free treat! NEW this year: entertainment and
food trucks!
