Super Senior Club

Next Meeting: Thursday, June 2 at 1 p.m.


The Super Senior Club's goals include promoting community service and making lifelong friendships! Monthly meetings typically include reviewing donation requests, fundraising proceeds, door prizes and always treats and coffee!

Meetings are typically held on the first Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. at the Senior Center. Come to a meeting and give it a try! If you want to be a member, it's only $7 per person for a year and includes an annual free picnic.

Defensive Driving Classes

4 hour in-person refresher classes starting soon!

Take one of these every three years if you are 55+ and receive a 10% discount on car insurance if you have previously taken the 8 hour online course. The 8 hour course is online at minnesotasafetycouncil.org. 

4 Hour Course Dates at the Senior Center

June 23, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
July 11, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
July 28, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
August 8, 4:30-8:30


$24 due two weeks before class.

Art in the Park

Join us for week-long summer art camps for 55+! These five-day sessions are co-sponsored by the Rumriver Art Center and the Coon Rapids Senior Center. All classes take place at Lions Coon Creek Park (Shelter #2).

Supplies are provided. Scholarships available. Call RRAC at 763-323-8830 to register and pay.

Exercise, meet new friends and enjoy nature, all at one time! The Coon Rapids Roamers try out a different park or trail every week. For a map and complete listing of all the hikes, stop by the Senior Center and pick one up or call 763-767-6473 and request that one be mailed to you.
