The 52nd annual Snowflake Days celebration kicks off Thursday, January 28 and runs through February 14.

Movie on the Ice

New this year to Snowflake Days, The Coon Rapids Ice Center will feature a Movie on the Ice night, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 29. The 1992 movie, 'The Mighty Ducks' that was filmed at the Cook Ice Arena will be playing for all to enjoy free of charge. Spectators will be able to stay warm as they watch the movie from the stands.

Family Day at the CRIC

Enjoy a day full of activities at the Coon Rapids Ice Center on Sunday, January 31. Bonfire, sleigh rides games, prizes, music and more! Don’t miss Family Day, a brand new event that’s part of the 2016 Snowflake Days celebration. You can also skate on the new ice trail during this event. Use of the trail is free, other activity fees will apply. It’s a great way to have fun with your friends and family this winter!
