Our May/June newsletter is out and it is packed with fun things to do!

By popular demand, our PARKING LOT BINGO will be played on the 2nd and 4th Mondays at 1:00 (May 10 thru September 27). On Monday, June 14, our Bingo game will be for Grandchildren (or special kids). Must sign up in advance. Super fun!

We’ll also be offering Art in the Park, Walking Clubs, an outdoor concert and much more! Check out the newsletter for all the details!

We’re also taking little steps to open our building back up. Starting in May, we will welcome back the Craft/Crochet/Knit Club (Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.), Vet’s Coffee Group (Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m.), Bunco (Wednesdays at 1:00/Bring your own dice) and the Woodcarvers (Thursdays at 1:00 p.m.).

We will continue to maintain all social distancing precautions, extra cleaning procedures and mandatory mask wearing (with or without a vaccine). We want to keep safe and keep healthy! Watch our July/Aug newsletters for our next re-opening phase.

Medical Disposal

Turn in your unused or expired medications for safe disposal at The Coon Rapids Police Department.

It is available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at their main window at City Hall, 11155 Robinson Drive, Coon Rapids, MN.

Books & Puzzles!

Our library has FREE books and puzzles!

You can keep them or return them. Donations are accepted, too (especially puzzles!).

Safety and wellness are our main concerns. At this time, we are not offering any in-person activities in our facility except:

Defensive Driving
Tax Assistance (starting mid-Feb.)

There is a light at the end of the tunnel and we’re hopeful that some activities can resume soon.

In the meantime, our office is open and we are here to help you! We suggest mailing payments for classes/event.

Once you figure it out, you can attend Senior Center events, as well as ‘meet’ with friends, family, church groups, classes and more! Over 200 million people use Zoom each day—and if they can figure it out, so can you!
