The Coon Rapids Recycling Center is now OPEN! Recycling Center availability is limited to a few days a week and hours will vary. Click here for the latest information.

The Coon Rapids Senior Center and related activities remain closed due to the stay-at-home order and the public health concerns presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Want to make someone’s day special? Due to COVID-19, Camilia Rose Care Center is under stringent quarantine restrictions. No visitors are allowed and, according to Administrator David McCray, residents are feeling a little lonely.

The Senior Center is now holding ZOOM meetings for classes and other events. This is a fun way to teleconference with numerous people, right on your home computer. It includes audio and video, with your screen looking something like the Brady Bunch. It’s fun!

We’ll announce meeting times in future emails and on Facebook. It is easy to join a Zoom meeting.

The City of Coon Rapids, with help from the Metro North Chamber of Commerce, has created a consolidated list of Coon Rapids restaurants open for take out or delivery during the stay-at-home order. Restaurants may offer delivery, drive thru or takeout service but no dine-in options at this time.
