The Coon Rapids Snowflake Association will celebrate its 60th anniversary event in 2024! They invite all Coon Rapids students in grades 5-12 to participate in the 2024 Coon Rapids Snowflake Days Button Design Contest!
Who Can Enter
The button contest is open to students in grades 5-12. Students must attend an elementary school, middle school or high school located in Coon Rapids, or be a homeschool student who lives in Coon Rapids.
Design Rules and Criteria
- Button design must be round.
- Designs must be submitted on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of white paper with the design in color using the template provided:
Download and print the button template here. - Design can ONLY include a maximum of three colors (not including background, which will be white).
- Date of the celebration must be on the button: January 27th – February 11th, 2024.
- The following words must be on the button: “Coon Rapids Snowflake Days” and “60th Anniversary.”
- The City Mascot Rocky the Raccoon MUST be included in the design: see Rocky the Raccoon here!
- Suggested design elements are: winter activities in Coon Rapids such as hockey, ice skating, sledding, disc golf, etc.
- Entry must include: student's first and last name, school, grade, parent’s name, and home/parent phone number.
- All entries become property of the Coon Rapids Snowflake Association.
How to Enter
All entries must meet the criteria listed above, and must be submitted by Friday, Dec. 22, 2023.
