Several big names are coming to the Riverdale retail area in Coon Rapids:
- Building permit applications have been received for Schneiderman's Furniture, which will occupy the former Sears space in the Riverdale Village Shopping Center.
- Work continues to reconfigure the former JC Penney space in the Riverdale Village Shopping Center. Tenants have not been named but there will be multiple tenant spaces.
- Across Main Street, a liquor license has been issued for Total Wine and More in the Riverdale Commons Shopping Center. The store will occupy the former OfficeMax location.
- Target in the Riverdale Commons Shopping Center recently opened a liquor store after getting approval for a Class B off-sale liquor license.
