Join a Free Moms on the Run Class Join the Moms on the Run! A Coon Rapids-based fitness group for moms of all fitness levels interested in making friends while breaking a sweat. | |

Friday, July 21 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Join us for free skating at the Coon Rapids Ice Center. Concessions and skate rentals available for a fee. |
Try Burn Boot Camp for Free Come to a free Burn Boot Camp class in Lions Coon Creek Park at 1664 119th Avenue! Coon Rapids Burn Boot Camp staff will lead a 45 minute full body workout. Attend one or both of the sample classes! | |

Coon Rapids Farmers Market Every Wednesday, June 21-Oct. 11 from 3-6 p.m. Coon Rapids Ice Center, 11000 Crooked Lake Blvd. | |
Rec on the Spot Weekly from June 12 through Aug. 10. Rec on the Spot is a free mobile recreation unit that makes scheduled stops throughout the summer providing time for kids to come together and play outside. Learn more and see the schedule here! | |
4th of July Celebration July 2-4 Boulevard Plaza, 11002 Crooked Lake Blvd. One of the biggest local events of the year, the 4th of July Community Celebration has something for everyone! Visit the carnival, watch the parade, run in the 5K and of course, watch the fireworks! More information available here! | |
Summer in the City Neighborhood Meetings The last neighborhood meeting takes place on July 11 at Boulevard Plaza from 6:30-8 p.m. Summer in the City events are a fun and casual way to get to know more about Coon Rapids! Talk to City officials, learn about the departments that serve you and enjoy family friendly entertainment. City owned vehicles like fire trucks, police cars and more will be on display.
