Working to Build Community Depth and Understanding

The Multicultural Advisory Committee (MAC) is a new collaborative group, organized by the Coon Rapids Police Department, that works to enhance relationships with members of the community from culturally diverse backgrounds.

The goal is to build relationships, encourage great discussions and learn from each other as it relates to police and the community.

The MAC provides advice, suggestions, and assistance to the Coon Rapids Police Department to aid them in better serving, communicating with, and understanding the many cultures that reside in, work in, or visit the Coon Rapids area.  Members will also learn about why and how officers do their jobs along with the functions and operations of the police department.
