Questions about your water and sewer bill?

The Utility Billing Department will be happy to assist you. Utility Billing staff can also provide you with information about water service connections and disconnections. To schedule an appointment for opening or closing an account, please contact the Utility Billing Office at 763-767-6438. Water and sewer bills are sent to properties quarterly.

2010 Water, Sewer and Storm Drain Rates
WATER -Residential - Single unit per meter:
Tier 1 (first 20,000 gallons):
$1.45 per 1,000 gallons
Tier 2 (20,001 to 80,000 gallons):
$1.80 per 1,000 gallons
Tier 3 (80,001 gallons and above):
$2.00 per 1,000 gallons
Multiple Units per meter:
Tier 1 (first 20,000 gallons per unit)
$1.45 per 1,000 gallons
Tier 2 (20,001 to 80,000 gallons):

Storm Drain Utility Charge

The storm drain utility charge provides funding for:

  • Federal and State mandates
  • replacements of infrastructure
  • improvements including catch basins and storm water pipes
  • enhancements to ponding areas including excavation to of sediment
  • water quality improvements
  • maintenance of the storm water system

Senior and Disabled Discount Utility Rate

To receive a reduction on the sewer charge, senior citizens or disabled persons may apply to the utility billing division in person to prove eligibility. Call 763-767-6438 to find out more about the application process.
