Senior Services Programs & Services
Coon Rapids Senior Services is located at 11155 Robinson Drive, inside the Coon Rapids Civic Center. Seniors, 55 years and older, are encouraged to come over and enjoy these beautiful facilities, including several meeting rooms, an Arts & Crafts Room, a large banquet room and a cozy library. We have wireless internet, too!
Enjoy yourself outdoors on our patio, in the summer flower garden or the walking trails. Feel free to stop in anytime during business hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) to get a tour, participate in an activity or just have a cup of coffee!

ACCAP Chores And More
The Chores & More Program (formerly known as Handy Works) helps seniors and disabled adults with housekeeping, minor home repairs and seasonal chores.
The work is completed by screened, private contractors as well as by volunteers from schools, churches, and community organizations.
For some people, Chores & More is a solution to a temporary situation such as an illness, injury, or a recent hospital stay. For others, this program becomes an essential service to help people remain living safely and independently in their own homes.
Senior Companion Program
The Senior Companion Program offers a weekly one-to-one service where individuals aged 60 years and older provide assistance and friendship to isolated or homebound seniors.
These services include companionship, outings, helping with errands and medical appointments. Companions provide a connection with the community that assists seniors in living independently.
