Back by popular demand! The City of Coon Rapids will host another informational forum about Orrin Thompson ramblers. Orrin Thompson built about 25 percent of the homes in Coon Rapids starting in the 1950s. Why have they stood the test of time so well and why do people seem to like them more every year? The City’s Historical Commission started documenting the benefits of Orrin Thompson ramblers about a decade ago.
Learn about the quality of the materials used, workmanship and how to best take care of them. Presentation by Ned Storla, Coon Rapids’ Staff Liaison to the City’s Historical Commission and Greg Brady, Chief Building Official.

Northwest Passage High School ISD 4049, recently awarded the Minnesota Association of Charter Schools Innovation Award, is beginning it's 19th year in the Coon Rapids community. Join us for an information night for prospective students and parents to gain a better understanding of student centered education at this project based charter high school. Northwest Passage focuses on project based learning, expeditions and building community.
