The Wedding & Special Events Expo provides one-stop shopping for newly engages couples as well as anyone looking to plan a special event (anniversary party, corporate event and more)! From photographers and florists to wedding planners, entertainers and more, this event is designed to help people research all the services they need for any special event. We are limiting the number of vendors in each category, allowing your business the chance to stand out!
Marketing for this event will include print advertising in the ABC Newspapers (including the Coon Rapids UnionHerald). An announcement will be in the winter Coon Rapids Connection citywide newsletter which is mailed to 26,000 households and businesses. Ad listings will be featured on the local cable television channel (CTN- Coon Rapids Community Television Network) and marketed on the Civic Center and City of Coon Rapids social media pages.
Exhibitors are encouraged to cross-promote the Wedding & Special Events Expo on their own websites and social media pages. We will provide you with a YouTube video to link to your sites.
Booth sizes are approximately 10” wide x 8’ deep and include one skirted 6’ table, one chair, and an exhibitor identification sign (must be registered two (2) weeks in advance for a sign). Draping will be black and table skirting will be white.
Booth fee is $100 for a single vendor, $125 if you are sharing a booth.
Booth requests must be approved by Civic Center staff.
Set-up time can start as early as 8:00 a.m. but must be completed by 9:45 a.m..
Booths are required to be active until 2 pm. Early tear-down is not allowed.
Electrical outlets are available. Please bring your own supplies (i.e. extension cords,
LCD projector, laptop, etc.). We will provide gaffer’s tape if needed.
Orders for goods and/or services are permissible; however, an ST19 form is required for financial transactions and/or sales that take place on the premises due to City regulations.
Booth fees must be submitted with the registration form - otherwise your booth will not be reserved.
Booths may be shared by two vendors, but there is an additional fee for the second table and vendor sign. Please submit applications for both exhibitors.
We try to keep the number of vendors in specific categories to 2 or 3 at most. Please check the Exhibitors page to see who is registered this year.
Should an Exhibitor determine they must cancel their participation, they will receive a 90% refund of the Exhibitor Fee through February 13 (10% will be retained by The City of Coon Rapids to cover processing and administrative costs). No refunds will be given after February 14th.
